2000 - 2006 Chevy/GMC 1/2-ton Yukon / Yukon XL 1500 4WDOverview The factory GM version of Independent Front Suspension (IFS) consists
of springs, in the form of torsion bars, upper / lower control arms and
a differential with Constant Velocity (CV) axle shafts. When lifting
the GM IFS, the primary factors that ensure good vehicle driveability
traits and component service life are: steering geometry, suspension
travel control and CV axle operating angles. This statement holds true
regardless of how much the vehicle is lifted, whether it is 2”, 7.5” or

We do not recommend using tires larger than 37” in diameter. |
